In Honor of Veteran's Day

In honor of Veteran's Day I am posting pictures of Porter from Halloween when he was dressed up as a military man. I thought it was cute and appropriate seeing as how Aaron served in the Army.
One of those rare precious moments caught on camera. Think he was going to take his hat off but looks like he's tipping his hat in salute. Looks posed does it not? I promise it's all Porter cuteness! I got the hat at DI months ago just for play, then another time I found this mini-BDU shirt I can tell someone made. Green pants, boots, and face paint and we had ourselves one cute solider.
I don't know why but I LOVE this picture. Bad lighting but I think it turned out perfect because of that. Feels symbolic and like a military memorial or a silent salute. I want to express my gratitude for our liberties and all the men and women who fight for that freedom. I am grateful for every man and woman who ever has, currently does, or ever will serve in the armed forces. They sacrifice their time and lives to protect this great, God-given country and I'm in awe at their dedication and courage. To every military personnel I express my appreciation and say THANK YOU! God bless America!
