Porter Summer Sum-up

We went grocery shopping at Costco Monday and Porter hugged the bread and bit into it. Reminded me of stories my Mom has told us about going up to the cash register at stores with two tots (Stacey and I) and teeth marks in the cheese.
Story time started back up today! Makes for a happy mama to be back in a good ol' routine. (Our library doesn't have story time in the summer.) Porter is definitely out of habit but did enjoy the songs as he usually does. Still doesn't sit for stories but not expecting that yet. I was disappointed he did not LOVE the teddy bear song like he had before. This is the "craft" they did today. They colored the sun while the mom's cut out their rays where we could write about their summer highlights. This is what I wrote for Porter:

-Nashville/Ohio Trip: visit Aunt Stacey, Aunt Michelle, Grandma, Papa, uncles and cousins (7/26-8/7)
-Swim Lessons at Rec Center (7/12-23)
-Jumpin' Jacks! or "jump-jump" (weekly)
-Nursery class at church: play w/ toys, friends, have snack, & learn about Jesus (Sunday's)
-Park: play, slide, swing (weekly)
-Stay w/ Nana & Papa to play (while Mommy at Girls Camp & Youth Conference) (June)
-Potty: going in the potty like a big boy on occasion! (June-Aug)
-Lake/Boating with family on holidays

I love my little son!!!!

I wish nate would sit through story time! He sits so good at home when I read him stories and he loves them! Maybe I will try taking him again...
