Easter! I love Easter! April 24
th was a good day.

The "Easter Bunny" left Porter a few fun goodies and left eggs in the yard for him to find (40 to be exact filled with candy and money).

Porter helped me make the bunny cake before church and he loved helping. Also made jello eggs but mine never turn out pretty.

Porter
LOOOOOVED the Easter egg hunt. No the two hunts he did the day before were not enough. =P

We didn't do the family coordinating thing (would have loved to), but we all wore pastel colors. I wore a pink shirt under white blouse, a stripped white/green skirt with pink roses, Porter had a purple tie on, and Aaron a yellow one.

My Easter Sunday beautiful boy with our garden strawberries. Hello pretty green!

Porter let me take a picture of him in the bunny ears! I think it's so cute. I know Aaron thinks it's torture.

I think this was the third year I made the bunny cake, so it's kind of tradition for me. I love it. It's cute and fun and festive.

Family dinner at the
Bergquist house was fun and fancy. Always such a treat.

Silly boys! Porter loves to play with his cousins, especially those whom I call "the big boys" (older than him).

Nana playing a matching game with gospel-related pictures on them with the grand-kiddies. They loved it. Porter even got to play.

Cousin Lucy (whom Porter calls "Woo-
cy") was dragging around the baby crib but Porter had to stop her to put the baby "night-night". How cute are these tots?!

I thought they did the cutest craft in nursery at church. Alyson Stocks (Porter's "teacher", aka nursery leader) came up with this: it was a tin can they glued cotton balls and a face to with green paper inside for grass, a yellow duck, and a few snacks (bunny grahams and bunny fruit snacks). Porter actually missed most of nursery because he fell asleep on Aaron in sacrament meeting, slept all through Sunday School, and part way into the third hour (he has not fallen asleep in church for the longest time, since he was a baby, even when he is dead tired). He didn't actually make the craft but Alyson let him take home the example. So nice! We had a wonderful Easter and most importantly above all remembered that Christ was resurrected and as a result overcame death that we might as well. We will all be resurrected again someday and if we so live worthy will be able to live with our families again. I'm so grateful for that. I'll do whatever it takes to keep my Aaron and Porter forever. =)
