Rainy Day Errands

July 26 was a rainy day but took Porter to McD's to meet up with a friend, and of course I promised him ice cream. He loved it. Afterward we went out to do two errands.
It always seems like I see "pregnant" parking spots when I am not pregnant and never see them when I am. I hardly ever shop at Harmons, but I did to take advantage of a cereal deal (got each box for $.50 or $.75 after store deal and coupons!), and much to my enjoyment there was a spot! Of course I had to pull out my camera and take a picture; it was a momentous occasion. Not only did it help so I didn't have to walk far but it was also a rainy day (pleasant surprise here in the desert), so that was nice to be up close. I've seen people park there who were NOT pregnant before and that just ticks me off. It's like parking in the handicap spot when you're not handicap.
Porter got to drive the car and would have me buckle him in and out as he helped me put cereal boxes in the cart. He was such a good boy.
When I go grocery shopping I have to do it in small doses. I usually only go once or twice a month--besides getting milk a few more times--and it takes couple hours, but recently I notice if I walk around too long I start to feel weird things. So when I go I get a handful of things at a time so as not to be up and about too long. Don't want to cause myself to go into labor.
After getting our cereal we went across the parking lot to drop off our recycles. Man it always feels good to do that! I don't always let Porter out of the car to help since it takes twice as long, but this day I did. He was such a cute helper! He calls it "motorcycles". I've tried telling him it's REEEEE-cycles, not motorcycles, but doesn't compute in his little mind.

When we were all done he shouted out, "Yeah! We did it!" Too too cute.
