Porter Recent Random Stuff

Aaron usually has a special treat around (some kind of candy) that Porter calls "Daddy snacks". So fun! And how appropriate this day Porter was wearing his "got candy?" shirt I got him at DI.

Porter fell asleep on the floor which he almost never does now in his "older" age. So funny. He was pooped this day! One of his new obsession is Buzz from "Toy Story". See Buzz just above his head? At night he asks for a Buzz book and sometimes asks for "Buzz juice" (his Toy Story sippy with juice in it). We have yet to see "Toy Story 3"!
Cousin Eli and Porter--silly boys! I love how the dogs always seem to sneak into pictures. I love my puppies!
Porter has been sneaking in to sit at the computer and use the keyboard and mouse. Wonder where he gets that from...
One of Porter's recent new loves is cereal. He will ask for it for a snack and when I get the box out he squeals with delight and is even happier when I hand it to him or put it on the floor. He of course then has the dogs full attention. And with the Frosted Flakes he of course makes a tiger noise and gives a nice "roar".

He also loves cookies now (never really cared before) and I don't know who taught him this! Pulling it apart and eating the inside before the cookie part. Now to his Daddy's horror I will teach him to dunk in milk! (Aaron doesn't like floaters; he puts a cookie in his mouth and then drinks the milk. I say you have to dunk.)
Porter has been doing Teddy activities for awhile now (where he wants Teddy to do everything he does) but he's doing it again and frequently. One day he went and got Teddy, put him in the highchair, and asked to put a bib on him. This past Sunday he did the bedtime routine to put Teddy and Monkey to bed before we went to church: turned on the fan, put them in bed, covered them with his blanket, gave them kisses, and said "Night-night" as he shut the door. All he was missing was the story and prayer. It was soooooooo cute! When we were leaving to go to church I asked if he wanted to go get Teddy (who usually comes to church with us) and Porter said "No." Cracked me up!
We had the dog kennel up on day and for some reason Porter thinks it's so fun to play in.
Porter got his haircut on the 6th by Barber Daddy who always does a great job. This is how we always do it: Porter sitting in his Bumbo covered with a garbage bag and on top of the counter. My boys are really a great pair. I love them!

The best way is to stab the center of an oreo with a fork and then dunk the WHOLE thing at once. Then you don't get milky fingers or dry spots in the cookie. I'm a genius... what can I say?
