May 24th was Aaron's 33rd birthday. He had to work all day but we had a tiny family celebration when he got him. I bought him his favorite cake at Costco (chocolate lovers bundt cake that is divine) and put 33 candles on it. When he saw it (took forever to light them all) his response was, "Am I really that old?" I said, "YUP!" You don't think that's a lot until you see it. After cake we gave him his present of canyoneering shoes and it was a sweet, simple, and nice little celebration.Sunday May 29th we celebrated his birthday with family at his parents house. It was a delicious meal and I made the cake with only a few candles on it this time. Aaron let Porter pick out the cake flavor few weeks previous as we were grocery shopping and he picked french vanilla. I had cream cheese frosting to top it off. After dinner Nolan seranated Aaron with a made up song and it was hilarious! Becky and Nolan sang several songs for us they would be performing later on and they were wonderful. Talented couple! This part is random (5/23) but Aaron was out working in the garage and it was a windy night. Chia--being the fraidy cat that she is of wind--climbed into Aaron's shirt seeking safety. Don't know why she wouldn't just stay in the house. Silly canine.
