Porter and I did a lot in a short span of time. We went out and did several things in a few short days and looking back it was a good thing we did, since just a short time later my doctor put me on restricted activity which means no extra or unnecessary outings. Last year our Washington Branch Library didn't do story time during the summer, and this year was supposed to be the same. For whatever reason they decided to change that the last week and are having it once a week until school starts when it will resume to four times a week. We love story time--especially with friends! (5/24) My friend Jodi took her boys--two of Porter's best friends--
Dallin and Porter and it was so fun for the three to be together. This was at the end of spring before the summer story time began.

They did the song "
5 Little Ducks went out to play, over the hill and far away, when mother duck said 'quack quack quack', 4 little ducks came waddling back...etc etc". The boys had fun.

Teddy bear song! Who doesn't love that?!

Sharron--the story lady--had the cutest craft for the kids to make: a duck hat. I stapled everything on for Porter and had him help me glue on the face. It looked adorable!

After story time my wonderful, awesome friend Jodi took Porter home to play (he
LOOOVES going over there to play--lots of fun things, new toys, and best of all kids to play with!) for couple hours while I went out to do a ton of errands and get Aaron's birthday shopping done. It goes so much faster and get so much more done when you are all alone and can run in and out.

Later on Porter and I went out again. I hadn't been to the kid's consignment shop in awhile so we went to Kid to Kid to browse around and see if there was anything we needed/wanted. (5/24)

Porter got to ride a horse (like we had in the old days!) and a tiger.

Then we went to Sweet Tooth Fairy for a treat. I had coupons for free cake bites and we got some suckers that are made in Provo at my Mom's uncle's candy factory. I see them around town and smile, cause I know the
Startup's made them and they're family! I see them at places like
Deseret Book and the Pizza Factory. Porter is such a cute, fun little date.

Well hello chubby face pregnant mommy. Oh pictures are not flattering these days. Oh well--don't really care. It's fun being pregnant and feeling a baby move inside you. Just don't recognize myself when I look at pictures.

Porter and I went to Desert Rat the next day (where I had bought Aaron's canyon shoes) to check out a sale for me. Didn't get anything but Porter and I had fun trying on the toe shoes. I want to get a pair! (5/25)

I took Porter to Creative Minds Discovery Center to play and he had a blast as always!

My friend
Aubri comes from California where she is living and whenever she does we hang out as much as possible. Porter and I went up to Pine Valley, the day after we got home from
Richfield, with her and her dad to stay the night and had fun as always! (6/4-5) They had some relatives over and made yummy hamburgers for dinner and homemade
Veyo pies! Holy smokes do I eat good when I'm with them. They are always so good to us and treat us like family. I'm just so mad at myself for not getting my camera out while we were there until the drive home. Bad Natalie!

Shopping at
Wal-mart as a family to get a few essentials after being away from home for a week (
Richfield and Pine Valley). One thing Porter LOVES to do is help put things on the conveyor belt from the cart. He is such a cute little helper. (6/6)

Porter and I went to the tale end of story time one day and he colored a bear. Then he showed it to me and hugged it. CUTE! (6/8)

I love any outing with my son. He is such a good boy and I would even venture to say an ideal toddler.

Aren't library activities the best? I am always so amazed by how much you are always doing with Porter ~ you are one busy mommy!
