Monday February 28
th Stacey and I went to the Temple! It was finally open after it's biannual two-week closing for cleaning and maintenance. Just so sad that fell on Stacey's visit. We wanted to go more. After naps we took the boys to Creative Minds Discovery Center for an hour. We tried several times during our visit to go but once went too late (didn't realize it closed at 6pm; I was sure it closed at 8pm...who knew what I was thinking) at 6:15pm and another time the boys didn't wake up in time to eat and go, and the third failed attempt Aaron wanted to go on a date. Never mind I had not seen him for days. =P It was somewhere we finally went that Simon loved. For that reason alone I wish we had gone more.
Those little size shopping carts are always a hit.
We tried to get Simon to ride the 4-wheeler but I ended up just giving him a ride.
Later that night Aaron had a softball game. There were two games but they were late (8:30 & 9:30pm) so we just stayed for the first game.
Even though it was late and
WAAAY past bedtime we gave the boys a bath and made it red. The next day on Tuesday March 1st was the day I had dreaded for weeks. Time for the
Gilday's to go home day. =( She visited with us for almost two whole weeks but no matter how much time we have together it is never enough. I love that kid and miss when she is not here! I LOVED the time we had together and especially with sweet little soon-to-be big brother Simon. Love my
Gilday's!
