Porter all tied up (2/3). He had fun playing with this rope and playing "tug-o-war" with Daddy. These are all pictures from the first two weeks of February leading up to V-Day.

Valentine's decorations!!! I enjoy being festive and putting up a few decorations for every holiday.

My favorite Valentine! My buddy still loves to play with my oven mitts every once in awhile. Cutie-pie.

For a week or two I was always in the mood for a shake, so Aaron came home one day with ice cream and such to make a special treat (2/5). I was very happy. We had nightly shakes for a week! Porter loved helping Daddy make them.

He is way better about it now but through Dec and Jan he spent many a-naps in front of the door after crying to get out. This was Sunday afternoon when I went to get him ready for church (2/6). He could have had a hour and a half nap but only got minutes because tired boy decided to fight it. *rolling eyes* Doesn't he know Mama knows best? Now he is back to my perfect boy who gets into bed when he is told and stays there and seems to enjoy going to bed.

Sunday February 6th we were at the parents house and Porter loved playing the donkey game with Nana wearing the special hat. He always has so much fun over there.

February 7th we had a Relief Society activity to go hiking in Bloomington on the Bear Claw Poppy Trail. Porter and I went with my friends, neighbors, and RS sisters and loved it! We of course were the tail end the whole time but everyone was so nice about having a tot tag along. Porter loved looking at all the "big pretty rocks".

Funny, silly, cute kid. Set up his chairs in front of and behind the laundry basket where he decided to sit to watch his "show" (2/10). For most of last year he was obsessed with "choo-choo" (Thomas the Train), then in November it was "Tigger Pooh", and during Christmas changed to Dora. In January it was mostly Dora and he switched to Diego. This month since his cousin was here he has been asking to watch more "Signing Time" shows. I love those. He used to watch whatever I put on (Baby Einstein, Little Einsteins...he loves to watch "rocket", Bob the Builder, Elmo, and Blue's Clues), but over the past couple months he's been pretty opinionated about what he wants to watch. Also on some days what shoes he will wear which at times don't watch his clothes that day. *Mommy shutter* Guess it could be worse. =P He still uses the potty but just here and there. Definitely not the majority of the time; in fact recently it's only been a couple times a week.

Little cute boy here decided to rearrange all of the pictures on the fridge. Loved playing with the magnets...I'd loved putting it all back in place. :/ No I don't have kid magnets for him to play with. =( I need to get alphabet magnets. He would love those. When he sees words or letters on signs he points to them and says "ABC's!!!"

How do you manage to make a 2 year old's life so incredibly entertaining?
