Porter's Restricted Activity Week

After going to the hospital for pressure/pain on June 12th doc put me on restricted activity, so we started spending a lot of time at home since I wasn't supposed to be up and about much. Even though I was the one who wasn't supposed to do much that translates to my little son not doing much either. How boring for Porter! Poor little son had to take care of himself sometimes and would get his own snacks. (6/16)
Toys all lined up. Love it.
Went to check on Porter who was watching a show and he had a bare bum; he had taken his diaper off! He's only done that a few times ever.
After a week of being at home (besides a visit to the perinatalogist and a cooking class at church while Porter played in the nursery), we had to get out. June 17th we met two of my friends at Creative Minds Discovery Center and Porter played for two hours while I was able to just sit and talk.
He had so much fun as always.
My little cowboy!
Porter is so funny. Most babies he sees right now he calls "baby Ewiza", who is his cousin. While playing Porter brought this Cabbage Patch doll to me and said, "Baby Ewiza!" So cute!!! (Porter, not the doll. Thankfully Eliza is perfect, beautiful, and precious, unlike the doll.)

Warrior! My little knight in shining armor!
Porter was such a good boy and thankfully had lots of friend time because their mommies were so nice and kind to call and ask when they could come get Porter. That was the biggest need of all at the time (that whole week I had some kind of pain or pressure, but that next Sunday came and it was all gone--I felt so much better and didn't feel the need to worry about baby). I just didn't want Porter to be stuck inside all day everyday just because Mommy did. We had several meals brought into us as well which was such a great help. I'm so incredibly thankfully for the love and generosity our friends, neighbors, and ward family showed us. Especially since that week Aaron was gone most of the time, busy at work. I wish I could say we won't need any more help, but we may depending on when baby Caleb is born and how that goes. I'm just grateful Porter has been such a wonderful kid through it all and I know he will continue to be!
