Domesticated & Playful Porter

Happy April Fool's Day! This is no April fools post though. My Porter is for real! One of his favorite things in life is pancakes ("cakies") and syrup ("dip-dip"). It's usually Aaron's thing to make with him but one day Daddy was not home so it was Porter and Mommy cakies! Porter is such a big helper and so cute! (Pancake pictures 3/7)
My little chef.

Porter just loves to help cook period. He will point to the counter and say "Right there!" because he wants to sit up there to see what's going on and help. This day (3/15) he helped me brown some meat.Porter is still really good about doing his chores: feeding the dogs (I don't have him do it every time), putting his pajamas and clothes in the "dirties", and putting his dirty dishes in the sink.
One of his favorites toys to play with (besides guns) are monster trucks. Trains have gone a bit by the wayside compared to last year. (Picture 3/8)
Aaron is loving his garage--the more organized it gets and useful. He built these storage shelves from the ceiling that I LOVE (what a great use of useless space!). One night Aaron called me out to the garage and said "he couldn't find Porter" *wink wink*. I said "Oh no! Where is he?!" To that I heard giggles and there was my cutie pie up on the shelf. Love to watch Porter play. So cute how he put Teddy in his Lightning McQueen basket/car. (3/7/11)
