We still love going to the library for story time. One day they read the story of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff, sang songs (the normal Teddy Bear song, etc), acted it out, put pictures on the felt board and talked about small/medium/large, and did the craft. Then they were each given a book of their own to take home! It was a very fun story time. (4/15)

Porter was cast as the troll and hung out under the "bridge" but it didn't last long. Was super cute though!

The craft for the day was to color a troll to be taped on a cup, and then we could go home to fill it with dirt and plant grass seeds for troll hair. Pictured is the example. Such a cute idea to go along with the story.

A lot of times following story time we go to the kids section of the library (where story time used to be held but it's now in a closed off community room in the front--less noise, fewer distractions, and easier to contain kids) to play with the puppets, puzzles, and occasionally pick out books.

Our extra car seat was in the car still from another day we took a friend somewhere to play, so this day when we went to story time guess who got to sit in it all buckled up? That's right! Teddy...recently known as "Brown Teddy". One day after playing at a friend's house while Mommy went to the Temple, Porter left his Teddy behind. I was putting him to bed and gave him two other teddies he has, but they weren't good enough. He wanted "brown teddy". He'd never called him that before but that's how he described his Teddy. So cute!

Porter climbed up on the counter--with the aid of the ladder of course--to get to the chocolate syrup because he wanted "chalk-it milkie" (chocolate milk).

Porter loves to play outside with his friends who live next door. Dustin (Porter's age) and Lana are so cute and when I brought out the camera they were all so eager to say "Cheeeeeese!" So cute!

And of course after the picture they all wanted to see it. Spoiled little generation. They have no idea was it was like before digital cameras and the days of dropping off film to be developed and having to wait WEEKS before you got to see a picture you took.

Porter snuggling with Daddy after bath just before bed time.

This is Porter's "cabe" (cave) he built using the couch pillows. (4/16)
