Aaron had a trip to SLC for work (a conference where he also taught a couple classes and had an article about it in the Salt Lake Tribune) at the beginning of the month for 3 days (felt like an entire week though). Every time he goes out of town he bring Porter back a "special". It's usually a bag of candy or a little toy like his Cars toys (Lightning McQueen's). This time it was a baseball mitt! (4/8) Porter was SOOOOOO excited! He loves anything "baseball" right now and it's so fun to watch him play.

He kept picking it up and throwing it in the glove, imitating what Daddy was doing. That was just darn cute, funny, and adorable.

He ended up not wanting his glove but Aaron's instead. He said his glove was "too big". I love this kid! Makes my heart all warm.

Monday April 11th we went as a family to Aaron's softball game. He didn't play because still had an injured knee from the other softball game, but he went to support his team. Porter loves to go watch "people baseball". He loves to wear his baseball hat (only cap he has right now which is too small but oh well), baseball shirt (it's a Cubs shirt I got at DI), baseball shoes (his tennis shoes that have a number on them), and of course his baseball stuff (glove, bat, and ball).

Porter had to wear sunglasses because Daddy had some on. First he stole Aaron's, then I gave him mine which fit perfectly.

The kids all love getting suckers from the concession stand. It's the little things like sugar on a stick that make us happy in life. =P

Porter had so much fun at the game. He didn't watch the actual game much but rather played with his cousins and friend Nate. Porter would pitch to Nate (who had Porter's real bat) and all while having a sucker in his mouth.
