Wanted to announce and welcome little baby Presley to Miriam (Aaron's sister) and Spencer Holmes (and Presley's brothers Peyton and Lincoln)!!! She was born Friday February 20th at 9:13pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. Mir pushed a couple times (I thought it was 2 but went back and looked at the video and it was more like 3 1/2) and only pushed for 2 minutes and baby was out. Looked like a piece of cake! Porter was almost there for the birth; things had progressed and my wonderful friends (thank you Bonny and Rob!) came to pick him up to babysit him and I walked back in to see that it was "go" time. Spencer's sister Ashlea (or may be spelled Ashley like normal?) and I were present for the birth and it was amazing. I was so glad I was allowed to be there. I felt bad it was me and not one of Mir's sisters (one was super sick, one in Salt Lake, and the other in Vegas with kids), but I'm grateful for the blessing to be there. Ashlea had driven up from Vegas and was the biggest help the two days she was here; she is awesome. (You all know to assume that Spencer was there for the birth too right?) Presley is so incredibly precious! We are so excited to have this new little spirit here! Miriam especially; she's been waiting for this one for a long time. Congrats Holmes family!
