Porter 9 month pictures

Last month Aunt Miriam (Aaron's sister/Porter's aunt) opened her studio and took Porter portraits which turned out PRECIOUS!!! Look how cute this kid is! I LOVE these pictures: thanks Mir! Aaron didn't want to come to the photo shoot but I made him because he is the only one who can get smiles out of Porter and make him laugh like this. Took me awhile to post these pictures because I had to wait until I had access to another computer since mine has issues with picture CD's. When exactly did my baby turn into a little boy??? I can't get over it. He just started sitting up unassisted the beginning of May (8 months), rolling around as his mode of transportation by the end of May, got his first tooth mid-June (9 1/2 mos), graduated to size 3 diapers (9 1/2 mos), got up on hands and knees to rock mid-June, clapping (10 months), pulls up to stand on furniture (10 months), raised crib rail and lowered mattress after he fell out beginning of July, got his third haircut four days ago (Daddy butchered it by buzzing it...Mommy not happy because just wanted a trim), and couple days ago started WALKING along furniture. My baby is growing up! A little more update info on Porter is he weighs 18 lbs 11 oz and since July 3rd he has seriously become a daddy's boy. When Aaron hands him back to me to go to work Porter cries and I say "Hey!" It's so sweet and melts my heart to see the bond they already have as father and son. I can tell they will always be best friends. I love my boys. =)

Patriotic Porter

Here are a few random pictures...none of which were actually taken on the 4th (those are still sitting in my camera where they will probably remain for awhile) but display my sweet little patriotic American half-pint. Every morning he has 'morning hair' (all tuffled, messed up and cute) and I love it! Cracks me up every morning. I leave it that way most of the day just because it makes me chuckle. Porter had two festive outfits for this holiday: the blue flag shirt and the "I make a lot of noise" tank with fireworks and red/blue shorts. Both I bought at DI (Deseret Industries--thrift store) and they were so appropriate and precious on him.

I neglected to tell you last post that the 26th and 27th were special days for us. The 26th marked the10 year "anniversary" of Aaron and I meeting/dating (10 YEARS!!! A DECADE!!) as well as the day I entered the MTC (Missionary Training Center) 7 years ago to serve a LDS mission. Then the 27th marked 10 months of Porter's perfect precious existence. =)
