Staheli Farm Live Nativity

Monday the 13th we went to the Live Nativity at Staheli Family Farm close by and it was wonderful! Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus were played by our friends/neighbors the Bishop's. Sherri (who works/runs the farm) began by singing one of my favorite Christmas songs "Breath of Heaven", then the nativity, another beautiful song, and refreshments of cookies and hot chocolate. It was really sweet and definitely felt the Spirit.
What a wonderful sweet event and the perfect Family Home Evening.
The shepherd's in the field watching their flocks by night.
There was a llama wasn't there?
That night we got a box from TN and we were instructed to open one present early. It was something I've had on my wish list for a long time: the Fisher Price Nativity set! SO CUTE! Porter LOVES it and when opening it kept saying "Ooooo"!
He LOVES baby Jesus and carries Him around, takes Him to bed, and goes around saying "Where is it?" if he can't find Him. That night he took baby Jesus into his bath and wrapped Him in his wash cloth as if it were a blanket. I love my little son!
