Christmas Eve we had a family progressive dinner and it was so fun! We really missed the two Vegas families (
sibling's Jared and Charity and their families) and Luke.

We started out at Becky and Nolan's apartment for appetizers. Yummy strawberries on crackers and homemade mozzarella sticks, then we went to the Holmes' for salad. Next was my house for honey glazed spiral ham, funeral potatoes (thanks Rachael), and Texas Roadhouse rolls with cinnamon butter.

The program and dessert with the live nativity was at the parents house (aka: Nana and Papa). Papa read the Christmas story from the Bible while the kids acted it out and we sang Christmas songs.

By the time we got to the last house it was about 8:30pm so the little ones were tired, but the show must go on! Peyton and Lincoln represented the wise men, Eli was Joseph (although Aaron thought Porter looked more like Joseph and Eli looked like a gladiator), Porter was a shepherd, Presley was Mary, and Thad played baby Jesus.

It was a wonderful and delightful evening! =)

As Christmas tradition goes all the
grand kids got pajamas to open from Nana and Papa. Porter LOVES his Lightening McQueen '
jammies!

The dogs wear their Christmas shirts (Michelle got them on super sale for my furry babies) that are quite fitting.
Chia is our naughty one and
Chancho is golden boy and deserves to be spoiled. =P

I LOOOOOOVE that idea - progressive dinner. I've heard of them but have never done it myself. I'm going to do that this year! What an adorable live nativity. Wouldn't I just LOVE a video clip of something like that from your camera phone!!! So glad you like the doggie shirts.
