Porter had 4 costumes this year. We went to story time at the library everyday (it's only Tues-Fri) the week of Halloween and Porter dressed up. Why not?! It was so fun. Porter was a cowboy on Tuesday: had the cute horse shoe Old Navy shirt from DI, hat from DI, horse from his Grandma Taylor, and we borrowed boots from his friend Noah.
He loved those boots. Can you tell?

Tuesday night we had a Halloween party for Young Woman's and I recycled last year's costume and did the cat again. This year kitty just had more hair.
Mommy tried to match little military man on Wednesday.
Porter has two jobs at the library: hand the lady the library card and get the
receipt print out. He loves it and is so cute doing his job.
Porter and two of his friends Reese (cutest little genie) and Noah. They love to play together!
The Tanner's invited us over one day to carve pumpkins. It was so fun! The kids played and Kristen and I talked and talked and carved. The first is Reese's, then Noah's, then Porter's. Please don't laugh; I did my best.
Each day they did a parade in the library and Porter loved it! He followed right along with all the kids (I expected to have to take him along to participate) and really enjoyed it. One day the story time lady told them to say "BOO" to everyone they passed. Porter really got into that. It was really a boo/yell/roar type thing he had going on.
Full costume. Stacey got it from her sis-in-law I think, so it was
FREEEEEEE. Works for me.
Outside the library Porter started playing peek-a-boo all by himself! I didn't ask him to or anything. With the camera in hand I was one happy camper!

We had to go to the hospital one day and got an apple in the waiting room and Porter loved it! Look at all the cute little bites! He kept saying (and signing), "Apple...yum!"

Again Porter playing peek-a-boo on his own accord. I LOVED it! Two days in a row he did it and made for great pictures! (Except I should edit them so you don't see the other side of the pole.)
My sister Michelle gave
Chancho and
Chia these light-up pumpkin shirts a year or two ago and they are so cute! The dogs were so calm and acted so submissive and apologetic when they had these on. It's like they saw it as punishment and very sorry for whatever they did.
These skeleton shirts are from last year and I love them. So cute! We did dress
Chancho up as a pumpkin and
Chia as a giraffe on Halloween but didn't get pictures of it.
Porter was SO CUTE going from car to car (or trunk to trunk) asking for candy. I would tell him to say "trick-or-treat" which he attempted and then prompt him to say thank you, which got the cutest "tant-you" with the sign.
Before candy at the trunks they had games and donuts and juice. Porter was awfully cute eating that donut bigger than his face.
Little manikin man creeped me out; didn't phase Porter. 
Some of the family in attendance: three of Aaron's sisters and Nolan. Aaron missed out because he was working but Nana and Papa (Aaron's parents) had a great trunk and fun ward activity! 
After the ward party Porter and I attended a Halloween carnival with Aimee, her little Princess and the mighty fire-y dragon! (Every proper princess needs a dragon.) So fun!
Lost Porter at one point during the carnival (he kept disappearing and running off) and found him in a room playing musical chairs. Cute kid!

Cousins Porter and Eli riding the "vroom vroom" together. We were lucky enough to hang out with Luke, Rach and the boys several times while he was on his two week R&R (time home from over sea's deployment) and had so much fun. Love our Park family!
