Scared Pea-less

Poor kid--all spooked. Now those are some wide eyes. Man I am so talented. Have to brag here because I am nursing and blogging at the same time. Who ever said there's no such thing as multi-tasking! If it weren't so inappropriate and personal I'd take a picture for proof, but I'll spare ya.

My Sweet Pea

This is my little pea pod baby. Looks like he's about to say something doesn't it? Clearing his throat...or maybe that was a cough. =P This was Porter at Halloween. Aunt Stacey (my twin) bought this for him as a present and he was pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. I dressed up as a farmer girl (to match Porter) and Aaron would have too had we found a pair of overalls. That would've been easy had we tried more than the day before. He used what we had at home and I think he looked pretty good. (Sorry about our pictures; help me out people, how do I flip those darn things around?) Aaron looks intimidating though doesn't he? Makes you wonder if Porter will ever have nightmares. Anyway, Halloween night was so much fun: all of the Bergquist kids (Aaron's siblings) and families went trick or treating together. (Except for Jared and Melissa; they were in Vegas and they were missed.) It was so much fun! Good times.

Ooooo

These pictures were taken from my phone (as many have been), so they're not the best quality, but I love the faces I've been able to capture with the convienence (how do you spell that word?! spell check is not reading my mind!) of the camera phone. This one on the bottom was when he was probably a few months old. He's wrapped in a blanket made by my wonderful fabulous Aunt Wendy. I love this face! "Oooooooooooooooooo" he says. That's not "oh", it's "oooo". On the top it's more of a "Oh boy". Most of the Porter pictures I post will be old ones since I'm playing catch up and those are the ones I have on my computer. I will always let you know however so it won't be confusing.

Preemie Porter Sun Tanning

This is one of our favorite preemie Porter pictures. (That top picture should be side ways. How amazing is it that the diaper is a preemie size diaper.) Aaron took it on his phone. He was about 3-4 weeks old and under the bili lights at home due to his extremely abnormal bilirubin level. Boy looks like he's sun tanning. What a stud. See those skinny skeletal-like arms? Not any more! He's really filling out and packing on the pounds.

Our Bergquist family picture

Over Thanksgiving we had Bergquist family pictures taken (by Miriam) and these are a few of our little family pictures. Baby Porter is 3 months here and so perfect and precious. Yes we wanted the dogs in a few pictures because they are a part of our family. These two little Chihuahua's are a highlight of our lives. Chia is on my lap in the pink collar (we got her in May) and Chancho is on Aaron's lap (got him right before our vacation in Costa Rica last summer), which is fitting because that little dog worships him. Talk about man's best friend and loyal dog. He loves Aaron and follows him around, craves any attention from him, will do anything he says, cries when Aaron leaves...it's cute. Chia is our little monster. She is so sweet and loving, but when she wants to play, she can go a little crazy. Back to the pictures: we did take pictures of just the three of us and the entire Bergquist family, but I don't have those on my computer. I couldn't get all of the pictures from the CD to download--only 8 of them. Until next time! :)

Lil Risky Business

I am really having so much fun with my baby boy. This is our latest picture fun. Believe it or not I've never seen that movie ("Risky Business" starring Tom Cruise), but I know the famous scene of him dancing around and here is Porter's recreation. We have fun with pictures. I've got a lot of catching up for you in his few 4 months of life. =)
