Porter Play with Daddy

One of Porter's most favorite things right now is making "cabes" and pillow piles. Gotta be honest, I am so sick of putting that couch back together and the cushions back in place...and that was even before the new Porter piling.
He loves to hide under the cushions and we find him. Such a cute giggler!
Porter loves to help Aaron do anything "handyman". He always gets out his tools and is anxious to do what Daddy does. (5/27)
Sunday morning (5/29) Aaron helped Porter build a fort cave and he played in that all morning. He also wanted Daddy to play and they played dinosaur hunt.

Porter would yell "Dinosaur coming!" and they would run outside to shoot it, then run back to the cave.

Aaron let Porter watch a show in the cave with his iPad and Porter thought that was great.
Porter displaying survival bracelets in a variety of colors. (6/4)
"Pic-mic time!" (6/5) Porter laid out his blankets surrounded by a pillow outline and kept yelling "Pic-mic time!" Too too cute.
Porter playing in the toy box.
Porter shooting dinosaurs with his arm in the pillow as his gun. I played that game with him and it was fun. My weapon was one of the couch cushions. (5/29)
"Hmmmmmm..." Porter and Daddy do that a lot as they tap their finger on their lips as they think or make a decision. It's SO SO CUTE. (6/6)

We had a Family Home Evening (FHE) lesson on Ammon the missionary from The Book of Mormon. It's about how he chose to be a servant to King Lamoni and protected his flocks and had the opportunity to teach him about God. We sang primary songs about missionaries, read the story from cartoon books, looked at the picture as we read from the scriptures, and acted out protecting the sheep. Porter loved it and later that night when he was playing in the garage with his friend, he ran inside to get a toy and came out with the picture of Ammon. He was so excited to show him and tell him all about it. He said, "Look--sword!" and I helped him tell about Ammon and the sheep and the king. That was probably Porter's first missionary moment. (6/7)

Porter and Daddy playing restaurant, ordering food and handing over "money's". (6/8)
Porter would order things like cheese sandwich, french fries and dip-dip (ketchup), and chocolate milkie.
(6/9)
Porter talking to Aaron on the phone. When he talks on his toy phone he talked to Stacey or Grandma. During the day now he will say, "I wanna talk to Daddy." So on occasion I call Aaron at work, hope he's not busy, and have Porter say hi to his Dad.
Porter later on talked on the "phone" (the alarm clock). (6/9)
My boys taking a nap together. Sweet.Aaron is the BEST daddy in the whole world. Porter is one lucky boy and baby Caleb will be a lucky son and brother!
