July 22nd one of Porter's friends--Dax--baby brother had a birthday. Baby Rhys (pronounced "Reese") turned 1! It was a fun party and a wonderful evening! It was also great for me to get out of the house and see the sun. Porter helped Aaron carry the present (a barn with animals and colors and shapes to put inside) that he had too much fun playing with on the way to the party. He kept asking us to take it out of the box. Sorry buddy.

The party was at a cute little park in La Verkin with an awesome bridge over a creek.
We ate delicious hamburgers and hot dogs grilled up by the birthday boy's uncle.
It was a swim party as well that Aaron (who received the invitation that I never saw) neglected to tell me. We were unprepared but an aunt of Rhys' had an extra swimsuit (size 5T) that Porter used; it stayed up since his diaper filled up with water. =P

The birthday family! Manuela, Jed, and Rhys. The Dairy Queen ice cream cake was deeeelicious! It was very hot that day; I'm amazed they were able to keep it cold!
Of course the kids all loved the party favors; it got super noisy for awhile there.
